Give each tool a job
A spoolie brushes and blends; an angled brush helps place a compatible formula with control. Start with the tool that fits your routine. You do not need a large set to discover what feels comfortable to use.
Check the care directions
Bristle and handle materials determine how a tool should be cleaned. Read its manufacturer guidance and choose a suitable method. Do not assume every brush tolerates soaking, heat or the same cleaning product.
Store with care
After drying as directed, store tools in a clean place that protects their shape. Check for damaged bristles and visible product residue before use. A damaged tool will not give you the same control.
Keep the routine manageable
Choose a small number of tools you know how to use and maintain. General guidance does not replace the care instructions for an individual tool. Obtain appropriate advice before using any tool on a recently treated area.
